Houthi Militia Abducts Bus Driver in Ibb Over Slogan
Houthi militia forces have abducted a civilian in the Ibb Governorate, central Yemen, amidst daily violations reported across the province's districts.
Local sources stated that the Houthi militia kidnapped a bus driver after a slogan, "Sheikh bin Fadgham," was written on the rear window of the bus he operates to support his family.
The sources clarified that the Houthi militia alleged the driver used offensive writings and phrases on the back of his vehicle. They added that the militia compelled the driver to confess during initial interrogation to committing this act and subsequently broke the rear window of the bus.
Sources indicated that the Houthi militia is still investigating the driver and has threatened punitive measures against him.
It is noteworthy that the Al Jawf Governorate has been experiencing a significant tribal conflict for over two weeks, under the banner of "Matareh Al Karama." This conflict was initiated by Sheikh Hamad bin Fadgham Al Hazmi following his abduction, humiliation, and torture in Houthi militia prisons, reportedly due to his support for the cause of "Mira Saddam Hussein."
